Instrumentenbau spezial: “Set- up” (04.11.- 08.11.2025)
Das Seminar “Instrumentenbau spezial” konzentriert sich nur auf das spielfertig machen oder “Set- up” eines Streichinstrumentes. Es umfaßt: das Einrichten des Griffbrettes und des Obersattels, das Einpassen der Wirbel und der Stimme, das Aufpassen und Ausschneiden des Steges und schlußendlich die Klangeinstellung unter Berücksichtigung der Saiten, Stimmposition, Auswahl der Hängesaite und anderer klanglich entscheidender Faktoren.
Um einen akustischen Fußabdruck zu erhalten, lassen sich die Hauptmoden und das Klangspektrum mit dem akustischen Meßplatz ermitteln.
Neben der rein praktischen Werkstattarbeit liegt ein starkes Augenmerk auf der theoretischen Wissensvermittlung zum Verständnis der Funktions- und Bauweise von Streichinstrumenten.
Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Laien, Musiker und Geigenbauer in Ausbildung.
In der Buchung ist Unterkunft und Verpflegung enthalten. Die Werkstatt kann rund um die Uhr genutzt werden. Werkzeuge sind vorhanden, dennoch ist es sinnvoll einen eigenen Werkzeugbestand mitzubringen.
Der Bau eines Instrumentes zieht sich über mehrere Kursblöcke hin. Somit ist es Hobby und Passion , die einen mehrere Jahre fesseln. Dadurch entstehen und wachsen viele neue Kontakte und Freundschaften.

Special Instrument Making: “Set-up” (04.11.-08.11.2025)
The “Special Instrument Making” seminar focuses exclusively on preparing a stringed instrument for playing, or “set-up.” It includes: adjusting the fingerboard and nut, fitting the tuning pegs and the soundpost, fitting and cutting the bridge, and finally, adjusting the sound, taking into account the strings, soundpost position, selection of the tailgut, and other factors that determine the sound.
To obtain an acoustic footprint, the main modes and the sound spectrum can be determined using the acoustic measuring station.
In addition to the purely practical workshop work, a strong emphasis is placed on imparting theoretical knowledge to understand the function and construction of stringed instruments.
The course is aimed at interested amateurs, musicians, and violin makers in training. The workshops are held in three languages (German, English, and Italian).
Accommodation and meals are included in the booking. The workshop is available 24/7. Tools are provided, but it’s recommended to bring your own.
Building an instrument stretches over several course blocks. Thus, it’s a hobby and passion that will keep you engaged for several years. This creates and develops many new contacts and friendships.

Liuteria speciale: “Set-up” (04.11 – 08.11.2025)
Il seminario “Costruzione di strumenti speciali” si concentra esclusivamente sul Set- up di uno strumento a a corda. Include: l’impostazione della tastiera e del capotasto superiore, il montaggio dei piroli e adattare l’anima e ponte, tagliare del ponte e, infine, la regolazione del suono, tenendo conto delle corde, della posizione dell’anima, della scelta della reggi cordiera sospesa e di altri fattori che determinano il suono.
Per ottenere un’impronta acustica, è possibile determinare le modalità principali e lo spettro sonoro utilizzando la stazione di misurazione acustica.
Oltre al lavoro puramente pratico in laboratorio, viene posta particolare attenzione all’insegnamento delle conoscenze teoriche per comprendere il funzionamento e la costruzione degli strumenti ad arco.
Il corso è rivolto ad amatori interessati, musicisti e liutai in formazione. I workshop si svolgono in tre lingue (tedesco, inglese, italiano). La prenotazione include vitto e alloggio. Il laboratorio è utilizzabile 24 ore su 24.
Sono disponibili degli attrezzi, ma è comunque consigliabile portare i propri.
La costruzione di uno strumento avviene in diversi blocchi di corso. Quindi è un hobby e una passione che ti tiene occupato per diversi anni. Ciò crea e fa crescere molti nuovi contatti e amicizie.
